03.25.2003 :: Inishmaan and llamas
I have been working on the neck shaping on Inishmaan. Kind of exciting for me, since it's my first time! Gee I hope I did it right! Take a look..
and a closeup of the neck shaping.
I have to say, I'm loving it!
What is it about the mind that just won't stop thinking of knitting projects! Here is something I'm dreaming up..
Yup, knitted llamas! Who knew?? Of course wouldn't it be perfect using llama or alpaca yarn? And wouldn't you know it, Cascade carries a line of yarn called Pastaza (sounds like a yummy pasta dish) that would be perfect to make these cute creatures. Why knit a llama? You may be rightfully thinking at this time. Well, Bethany happens to LOVE llamas! And when you see a pattern like this one, how can you resist? It's her fault! So, I guess I'll be giving the boys over at http://threadbearfiberarts.com/ a jingle, who just so happen to carry this great yarn. Coincidence? I think not! Things seem to be falling right into line for me. How about you?
