02.27.2004 :: Button it!
Brigitte: Sandy, It's getting to that time in my life when we have to start thinking seriously about some things.
Sandy: wha?? You talking to me??
Brigitte: Of course, who else would I be talking to??
Sandy: er, okay. What is it?
Brigitte: There comes a time in every cardigan's life when some serious issues come up.
Sandy: Like what? I'm new at this.
Brigitte: Buttons, silly. I need buttons!
Sandy: Oh! You don't come with buttons?
Brigitte: Man! You really are not paying attention! I need 7-1 inch buttons. Not just any buttons. The Perfect buttons!!
Sandy: hmmmm..
Buttons??!!! Do you have any idea where I can buy buttons for this bossy cardigan? Not just any buttons. The perfect buttons!
Bethany and Andy went to a Bruins game last night where they won in overtime. Yah, Bruins! I had a date with the couch. YOU know what I did while there, don't you? Yes, knit. Tough question. Bethany came home with lots of pictures like this one..

A budding photographer, she is! And I never knew!

I have had good luck ordering buttons from Buttons Galore and More.
http://www.buttonsgaloreandmore.com
They have some beautiful buttons in many different materials, grab bags and a big selection.
Good luck! Oh, and don't take too much guff from your cardigan.Marney [marnita@att.net]

Hey, we should make a group outing to Windsor Button! Or up to the button shop in Maine. HA, HA. I've got to get buttons for my chickie as well. It's so hard finding the right one.alison [alison@knitsmithsdont.spamus]

Hey Brigette! Back off! Give the artiste a little space, will ya! Jeez! I found my buttons for B. at JoAnne - they are scrolly pewter buttons - JHB brand, I think. I think they had lots to choose from. I like the silvery ones against the Lopi.Mary Beth [irwinmb@sbcglobal.net]

If you come to Windsor Button, let me know and I could pop over after (during?) work. I just got some buttons there yesterday and I'm hoping to do a little blog photography this afternoon...Ingrid [sesamest@mit.edu]
