02.23.2004 :: Angels to brighten my day!
The Postman rung twice. Actually, he didn't ring at all. The package was just left in there. I am truly a yarnaholic. But you already know that. I'm also a startaholic. Especially a new yarn that came in the mail today from Threadbear and it's heavenly indeedaholic. Lorna's Laces Angel.

Never mind Charlie's Angels. These are Lorna's Angels, and they are prettier. Can't fight crime, though.
Size is deceiving though, isn't it?

Hey, Little guy! Come here often?
They say that good things come in small packages. Believe me, knitters, this one is true. I wish you could reach into your computer and feel this yarn. It is truly the softest yarn you will ever feel in your ENTIRE life. Or your money back! Made of 70% Angora and 30% Lambswool! It's a nose tickler. As I knit, little fuzzies fly past my nose and tickle it. I love it!

You've got to feel me to believe me!
This particular colorway is called Seaside. An appropriate name, no? Another scarf for me. Can a girl have too many scarves? Geez...what is going on in the right bottom corner?? Let me check. Loosy goosy cast on, I believe.
Now, back to my regularly scheduled knitting of Brigitte and the Fog sweater!
Oh, and quick note to Mary Beth.....order some peace fleece, baby! ;)

Okay, that is the most fabulously soft yarn I've ever felt. People, you have to come to our knitting group and see this yarn in person (or order your own from Matt & Rob). Amazing!alison [alison@noknitsmiths.spam.us]

Those Angel skeins look like little baby bunny wabbits (with a label wrapped around their middle). Weally, weally soft! Well, I was about to place my order, when my hubby walked in announced we need a new well pump and water tank! I think I am going to go ahead, because yarn will make me feel much better about the mucho dollars we are about to throw into a hole in the ground. Literally. Thank goodness I have yarn to cheer me up! Can't wait to see above scarf - I LOVE the seascape colors.Mary Beth [irwinmb@sbcglobal.net]

Oh Angel........... come here, too. I have been adoring the Angel but I've tried to stay "good". Now, I want to have it, too.... even more though. That sure is a pretty colour way.Uli [uliross@shaw.ca]
