Felting day has arrived! Here's the Booga J bag felted, in all it's glory. For comparison, the pre-felting photo shoot also.

This is the Handpainted Icelandic yarn from Over the Rainbow yarns. I am very pleased with the way the colors felted.

Okay, you band groupies will now know that I spent my Sunday at the MICA high school marching band finals!

This is about 1/4 of the kids that were there yesterday. They are awaiting the judges decisions. the orange and black that you see on the right side is the Beverly High School kids. Can you see my kids?? No? Well, you are not looking hard enough.....;) Beverly got two 5's (the coveted) and the rest 4's! Overall a silver medal! Beverly is proud this morning!

Where's the pic of the bag over your head?

In skimming through your comments, I thought for a brief second that "Marie Osmond" had commented here. I was impressed. Then I got over it. :)Kerstin

ooooh i like the felting! at this stage in my knitting career i am thinking that felting is achieved by wetting the wool and then drying it (and it might smell). i might practice on jimmy sunshine before i try it out on one of my scarves. speaking of which, oooh they're coming on a treat!
did you get my email reply the other week by the way?
scarf to be skimmed across the pond very shortly. maybe in time for xmas!!Leah

You're Icelandic Booga Bag is FANTASTIC! I'm going to have to order more for a felting foray of my own. Will you be i-cording the handle? I used some fancy black cording from the local fabric store (Wal-Mart)for the handle on my River Rock Booga Bag (pictures to come soon!).Marie [marieedmondson@yahoo.com]

Ooh la la! Love the felted results! Look so cushy and cozy... and the colours show up beautifully.

Congrats to your kids! They must be so pleased with their school's efforts... and with their efforts to bring home the silver. Awesome!Ginny [gareid@wightman.ca]
