Fall and winter are definitely my favorites. One of the reasons is that it gets dark earlier. While I enjoy the light of the summer evenings, the pace gets rather exhausting. In winter, I tend to finish dinner and clean up earlier, leaving more time to enjoy and relax. which of course, you translate to MORE KNITTING.
I love to go outside in the early evening, with the stars shining brightly above, my breath making clouds and the crisp air invigorating my soul. The lights of homes look so inviting. The warm glow coming from the rooms, a beacon to those who live there. When I see my home, softly lit with it's nighttime lights, it fills my heart with warmth. My home. My family. The light guides my way to the place where I call home.
