04.28.2003 :: hemmed in

You will be pleased to know that there is no fungus among us, anymore. It has been eradicated. For now. It'll be back! I made myself do it right away yesterday because I knew that I was in danger of hooking up with the knitting needles!

Later that day........I knit on the the cool ocean sock mate. I am half way through the heel flap. (shhhh.....don't mention that I usually have trouble with it. It seems to be going smoothly this time. Geez, I hope my psychi did not hear this......)

I must get going though. The kids are marching with the BHS band in the Little League parade in town. I need to lengthen my son's pants. He's grown so much this year, he looked a bit like Steve Urkel when he tried them on.

There is talk of a Suki knit-a-long! Any body interested? The bag looks fun to do! Check it out and let me know if you are in! Can't have enough knitting bags!

I've got a Constant Companion bag pattern I'd like to make. How about a general felted bag knit along? Or are there any other folks out there with Constant Companion patterns? She's over on the coast of Oregon, so I feel like I'm helping to support a local person by getting her patterns. URL? Um, yeah, um, let me see... ha, got it! http://www.knitkit.com/MyConstantCompanion.htm

A Suki knit along--great idea! Glad to hear the heel flap is going better on this second sock. I admire you for hanging in there. What tenacity! Kim [gibknits@earthlink.net]
