05.22.2003 :: A ming is a terrible thing to waste, oh I'm sorry, a "MIND"
Are you a snob? Find out at the Manor House PBS site. I am 65% snob. I think the shopping for bargains at Walmart question did me in.
In other good news, the local quilt shop, Cranberry Quilters is now carrying yarn and related paraphenelia! Have I died and gone to heaven? I have to make a point to stop by and see it with my own eyes.
I intended to show you an update pic of Inishmaan, but my computer is acting a little funky since we uninstalled a program called Panicware, which is a pop up stopper. Now that it is uninstalled, it is bitter because it is preventing windows from opening. Ohhh, for a computer geek right about now!
Gotta run to work, I'll write more later.........

Hey, I was wondering who Vea Vollmer was. I thought it must be one of the cryptic names. I've been trying to decipher it! hee hee!
Kathy, no kinder surprises yet. No worry, it will truly be a "surprise" when they come! :)Visit me @ http://sandysknitting.blog-city.com

Good morning Sandy! I took the snob quiz. Interesting results!
How fun that a local shop is carrying all that fun yarn. Coooool. I'm still *patiently* waiting for my Suki yarn to arrive. I'm way behind everyone in the knitalong, and it hasn't even started yet! LOL
I've not had any experience with Panicware, but I've heard it's a pain in the fanny to get rid of. Leaves little bits & pieces here & there on your hard drive.Kim [gibknits@earthlink.net]

Hello all you snobby people or maybe you're a snob wanna be! I'm a little concerned that only one of you got snobbier than me!
Lisa, run, don't walk to Cranberry Quilters. Although I have not personally laid my peepers on the yarn selection, I can vouch for their wonderful fabrics. Don't worry, I'm not crossing over. Quilting is my past. Let's leave it there. sandy [ashurley@attbi.com]

I'd take the snob test but I really think I'm above that sort of thing, don't you?
Hey Sandy:
Just for the record, I say Clay wins tonight. Pioneer Snob

I'm 59% snob. It's "touch and go, Kerstin." Honest, that's what the little paragraph said! Awesome quiz, Sandy! You did it again ~ you made me LAUGH. Just how do you do it? *lol*
I have a good popper zapper. Called "no pop" I believe. Cute little smiley face resides down in my whatever-the-bar-at-the-bottom is called. He is green and smiles all the time except when he's chewing up a popper. Then he turns yellow and frowns for just a sec. I'll see if I can get you more details. Be careful about venturing into the quilt shop. Buy yarn, no fabric. We can't have you going off the deep end. ;)NoSnob Sarah

Hey, Sandy! Did the Lea Vollmer name throw you? I was doing maintenance on her account when I made the comment in your blog! So I am really the 63% snob, not Lea. And I am glad you aren't wasting your MING!Chris [chrisknits@insightbb.com]
