05.20.2003 :: It's my anniversary!

Happy 19th anniversary to my wonderful husband, Andy. In honor of our special day, he is playing golf. And I am working. Hmmmm....what is wrong with this picture? No, really, it's a golf tournament that he plays every year, it just happens to fall on the 'Big" day this year. 19 years. Hmmm....could I be getting older? NAH!

I got some primet time knitting in last night while watching the season finale of American Dreams. I love that show! Inishmaan is coming along at a snail's pace, but I can see the progress. I am probably about 3/4 done the back now. It'll be done just in time for the blistering heat of the summer, I predict. The fun thing about knitting on Inishmaan now is that I have all but one of the cables memorized so I don't have to be constantly checking the chart. Actually I don't think it's memorized as much as understanding the cable and which way it will turn next. I cannot do that to the center cable though, because it is 24 rows wide. Too much for my little brain to comprehend.

It seems that the nice weather is upon us. finally. Probably in a couple of weeks, I'll be bitching because it is too hot!

Have a good anniversary for me, will ya?

Happy Anniversary, Sandy! Ahhh yes, he golfs, you work. It's *so* good of you to keep him in the lap of luxury! ;) My 19th anniversary would have been this August, and I have a great deal of respect for those who reach such numbers! Way to go! Sounds like you've both got a keeper.Kim [gibknits@earthlink.net]

You mean you don't want to hit some balls around on your anniversary? Awwwwwww, you're no fun. I think you should whip up some knitted golf club covers for hubby. Make him the laughin'stock of the club.

Happy Anniversary, baby, got you on my mind . . .Anna Anniversary Adversary

My camera sometimes fritzes on the date thing and I get weird dates on the pictures. Usually I turn the date off!

Hey, thanks everyone for the anniversary wishes! I will celebrate home alone tonight as the kids are going out too. I will dine on a delicious dinner of lean hamburger, no roll, thank you and some left over potato salad. Care to join me? To top it all off, geez, what shall I do.....KNIT??? Sounds like the perfect evening to me!
Knitted golf club covers.....I've seen them for real, but maybe I can come up with some outrageously ugly ones! hee hee!
