In knitting news, there is none. Maybe you've noticed with my stalling subjects. booze, M&M's (is anyone but me singing that song??), computer mice, weirdo dreams. All just stalling tactics, not wanting to tell you the truth of the matter is that not one stitch of knitting has been going on. Lots of reading. Lots of contemplation. That, my friends, always leads me to trouble.

So, I have been invited on an impromptu girls weekend to my friend's lake house in Freedom, NH. What can a girl do? I'm going. Bethany and I will be leaving sometime around dinner time and will spend 1 or 2, depending on our moods, glorious nights lakeside. What will I do? Read, silly. And swim. And maybe even knit. I plan to teach my friend's daughter (age 17) to knit socks. She has been wanting to learn for awhile, and this will be the perfect time. And I will bring the frog pond with me. That's right, I can smooch 2 will take the ride with me and I'm going to rip it if it kills me. And it may.
