06.25.2003 :: Dream a little dream with me
I had a dream the other night and it has stuck with me so I'm going to share it with you.
In the dream....Kerstin needed to be picked up from her weekend in the Berkshires, so naturally, she called me. As I picked her up, she had on a pair of sweatpants that were bright, neon green with Oscar the grouch on them, and they were too small for her. A lovely site. She was driving at this point and drove me back to Gardner, my hometown. (weird, because I haven't lived there in over 20 years!). As we were driving down the steep hill to where my house was, the Beverly High School band was marching up the hill. (WHAT??) I was screaming at her to pull over, my kids are in that band and I"d like to watch them. She kept driving down the middle of the street, with the band members leaping out of the way. (I guess she was in a hurry to get rid of me!!)
Boy, the imagination is an amusing thing, isn't it? Who wants to just lay there and sleep all night when you can be entertained like that?
And with that wonderful, somewhat disturbing story, I'll leave you with.....Peony in bloom!

I can't wait to hear vat doctor Chreese has to say about theese dream. Not to mention what Miss Kerstin has to say for herself. LOL. Personally, I don't think it was a dream. ; 0Pioneer Melissa

Hmm. Why am I not a bit surprised that Kerstin would wear Oscar the Grouch sweatpants that are too small for her? Boy, you must've eaten something before bed that really triggered the old imagination, eh? Ice cream? Squash? ha!
LOVE the peony picture. I had a lot of peonies at my old house--and used to cut them & bring them in. They added a real elegance to an otherwise drab day. *sigh*Kim [gibknits@earthlink.net]

Chris! You're a riot!!!
So that's where Cereal Eater got her Oscar the Grouch sweatpant vision from. Aha. It's true. I would love to mow down a marching band. I used to be in one. One of those godforsaken activities I never want to have the pleasure of doing again. Ever.
I agree with Dr. Cheese Whiz. Connect with your inner wild child. You'll feel much better. ;)Kerstin
