09.19.2003 :: forgetful Sandy
Okay, this is the 3rd time since school started 11 days ago that I forgot to wake my daughter when she wants to get up. This is not good. For some reason, my mind has a block. She used to get up around 7:30, after my morning routine. Now she wants to get up at 7 (to take a morning shower). I guess this is how teens learn to be self sufficient, but I feel horrible! And it is none too pleasant around here, let me tell you. One ticked off teen can make a house vibrate with stress! I can't wait to go to work today! haha!

See how close I am to finishing sleeve number 1? It has to be 19 inches long. Tonight.....

Who's got Steek lately? Geez, he's a wanderer!
You ladies are absolutely right! My daughter has an alarm clock, I just like to give her a "good morning". Just call me June Cleaver. Every morning I wake up, put on my best dress and heels, pearls, and wake the family with the smell of warm bread baking in the oven. ahem....cough..cough...
Just call me June.sandy [thehurley4@comcast.net]

Daphne has been spending too much time under the covers, I think. *wink* *wink*
My sleeve has to be 19" too! Uh, I think your tape measure is kinda crooked there, girl. If you lay it straight, it probably says 15". Cheater, cheater, what a skeeter . . .Kerstin

Last I heard Steek is looking for Isabel....
And the reason you wake your daughter up is......???? : ) I hide until I know mine is out the door and off to catch the school bus. Then Steek and I practice our ballroom dancing.Pioneer Voman

Um, Steek, here. Why no, I haven't seen him lately! Maybe he's out on the town with Gib, or Crazy Daisy, who knows maybe he went to Canada to see PM.Chris [chrisknitz@insightbb.com]

That looks fantastic, Sandy! I've gotta make this a short comment because it looks like our power is going to go out any second from the storm....(oh, how will I knit in the dark?)Leigh [leigh@woolflowers.net]

Just my exact thought Debra! In my house, if you didn't get yourself up, it was tough luck and enjoy your hike to school (I took a bus). Mind you, I had rather strict parents... no phone calls, no dating till I could drive... it goes on and on.
Pretty pretty pretty sleeve!Ginny [gareid@wightman.ca]

So is it 19 inches long now? The sleeve I mean. What ELSE would I mean by that? *snort*. ;DDaphne
