03.25.2004 :: Presenting...
I finished the stars and stripes sweater just in the nick of time. It will be given today to fly it's way to Oklahoma to the cutie pie baby! I love the look of this sweater. I did not enjoy doing intarsia, but love the outcome of it. And there are a couple of things that I am not particularly happy with on the sweater, but I will keep them to myself. To me, they are glaringly evident!Hopefully, the baby won't notice!
A tad patriotic, no?
And that hat? The pompom cracks me up! How can one pompom make a person so happy?? It's truly a mystery!
?? It's all about the pompom, baby!
Unfortunately when I try to be speedy knitter, like I did with this set, something starts to ache. The ache du jour is my wrists. Remind me never to knit a sweater set in a week next time, will ya?

What a lucky baby ~ the sweater and hat are just darling. I like the colours you chose! I would'a been by sooner but blog-city has been rejecting me!
Spinning class was great... wish you were there.

San's, the man! It's gorgeous! Looks a little small for me, but that's OK, I'll diet. Now find a soul who needs a baby sweater and pass the love on!! Great job, I can't see any glaring mistakes. They are only glaring because you know where they are.

So cute - another cute sweater to put on the list for me! Got any pom-pom tips? Mine are always - floppy. Not enough yarn perhaps?

Not surprising that you've got some aches, having knit that sweater so fast. I won't say it was worth the pain, but it came out great! Love the little pompom. Fun things like that make such a difference. Congrats on the FO - now go take care of those aching wrists!alison [alison@knitsmithsdont.spamus]

Thank you, Mary Beth, Kathleen, Monica, Alison, Karne, Sue, Uli,Chris, Tracy and Bron! Thank you so much!
Tracy, I think if you fill up your cardboard circle until the hole is almost closed, it will make a full pompom!
PomPom power! I'm still laughing over that one!! :)Visit me @ http://sandysknitting.blog-city.com/
