05.23.2004 :: Q & A and general stuff
Christine asked where to place the markers on Charlotte. Please head on over to Kerstin's place and see her tutorial on stitches and markers. Her May 18th entry also includes a marker tutorial. Thank you for sharing, Miss K.
Uli has created a spreadsheet that is, I'm told invaluable as a Charlotte tool. Go ahead and beg ask her for one. I need to get myself one, I must go email her now!? Thank you, Uli!
There is no time limit for joining the Charloteers, so come along!? With all the complaining, I do believe that people are enjoying the charlotte ride. Repeat after me. I will become a stronger knitter. I'm good enough, I'm strong enough and doggonit, I will knit Charlotte!?
If I have forgotten you on the Charlotte women list, please gently remind me. I have the memory of a .......what was I saying Oooh, is that a puppy :)

I feel like such a fool. after seeing your improvised stitch markers i realized i was using them wrong (dumb huh) I was attaching the marker to the markers to the knitting and not putting them on the needles - now i know why 'slip marker' was not working right - I have been kicking myself since yesterdayVisit me @ http://karen.blog-city.com

Thanks for all the helpful infomation. I got the spresheet from Uli and checked out the info on Kerstin's blog. These will save me so much grief.
I got the yarn and pattern from Threadbear today, and I worked a test swatch of the first 26 rows with some scrap yarn. I think I have the concept down. I need to ball up the yarn and get started--probably sometime next week.Vera [vhanna26@msn.com]
