04.21.2004 :: Suck it up!
Here's a picture for closure....
Everyday cardi, buttoned up!
Thank? you everyone for leaving such wonderful comments about my EC!? I really do love it. The weather conspired against my wearing it yesterday as it turned out to be 84 degrees. With no previous warm up, it was HOT!? Today should be a bit more seasonable.
In fact, I loved the EC so much that I was in such withdrawal without it. I missed it. It was such a comforting, easy knit to have around. When I needed to knit and not concentrate on the knitting, that is what I reached for. It left a hole in my knitting life. I pined for it.
Meet everyday cardi in Buffalo Brownski!
OY! I may be toeing some kind of line here. The obsessive middle aged knitter, knitting the same cardigan over and over again, giving them away to family, who cringe at the thought!!? You have permission to shake me if I turn into that pathetic person. Surely ONE more EC won't hurt?
In totally domestic, boring news, that thrills me beyond belief, I got a new vacuum yesterday!? The amount of happiness this little thing has brought me is almost scary!? I should work on getting a life, eh It is very similar to this one, but it is blue and it is amazing. It's name is Magic Blue. And it is, believe me!

Me too! Me too! I already ordered Peace Fleece to make two more sweaters--the Classic Aran from Starmores "A Children's Collection" and another Everyday Cardigan (this time longer in the body).
And I'm bad bad bad--your needles are sitting on my kitchen organizer, and not in the mailbox. I'm heading to the post office tomorrow to send them off.Ginny [gareid@wightman.ca]

I cannot believe the progress you've made on Brownie Points. ;) Just don't let it get sucked up into the vacuum!Kerstin

Wow, your making ME an EC!!! How thoughtful, how generous, how kind you are. But just to let you know, Buffalo Brownski is NOT my color. Couldn't you change it to some other color? Shirley that's not asking to much?

I can totally understand the thrill of a new vacuum. We just got one last week. I got a blister vacuuming! It is so powerful and amazing and I felt such satisfaction from getting all of that dirt. I am pathetic for sure.
I like your new EC cardi!Kathleen

Oh I get it. I did Sassy, now Simple, and next will be either another Sassy or EC, in PF, of course. I had a memory of my dear old grandma yesterday who used to buy the EXACT same outfit in every color available (down to the shoes!). Is that what is happening to me? If it works, don't mess with it, I say! A new vaccuum Does it motivate you to clean, because I need some motivation!Mary Beth [irwinmb@sbcglobal.net]

Another one! How are you going to wear the first one everyday if you got another one? I guess you just need five more and then you'll be all set! ;0)
Congrats on the vaccuum. I just changed my vaccuum bag over the weekend and it was a revelation! Oh the exciting lives we lead.alison [alison@knitsmithsdont.spamus]

I know exactly what you mean! I can't stop knitting with the peace fleece...or the everyday cardi! I'm now knitting the top-down pullover (hey, would your son wear that?) for my husband with pf, and I'm plotting who is going to get the next pf sweater.Annie

Alison, yes, another one. I guess I can monogram them with the day. To match my undies!!
Annie, my son would not, could not wear PF. Nor any of my family. They dont' like knitted goods. I bought them at a yard sale. They couldn't possibly be related to me
Kim...every other day cardis! Good one! And you can keep your doggie hair! Dog hair is NOT dandy!
Kathleen, oh, we certainly are grown ups, when a new vacuum makes our week! But oh, does it suck well! :)
Chris/Shirley! What color would you like :)
Kerstin, brownie points. A good one, indeed. This whole blog entry just sucks, doesn't it
Ginny, I'm glad to welcome you to the obsessive PF train! I'm not traveling alone! Don't worry about the needles. They will jump in the mail when they feel like it!
NOW...go vacuum everyone!Visit me @ http://sandysknitting.blog-city.com/
