Morning already?! Fig says, "Not now!"
This best describes how I felt this morning! Ugh!
2 things rolling around in my head lately!
First. I wonder how many knitalongs I could fit the kersti fan and feather scarf into? The Kersti along, a lace knit along, maybe a scarf along. Perhaps we could start a Fan and feather along. A summer/winter knitalong. Get ready for winter along. Start-early-on-Christmas-along. Ooooh, the possiblities are endless!
Second. Look at this.
Overall, this is a picture of Derek at his graduation party, cutting the cake. And that is my wonderful sister in law, Cheryl in the background. I'm sure she will be thrilled to have that angle of herself on display. Please accept my humble apologies, Cheryl! She is a knitter and an all around wonderful person! You'd like her! Wave to Cheryl! Look past the dishes in the dish drainer and overstuffed shelves. My husband made the two shelves over the sink as a surprise for me one weekend that I was away. I feel the need, an actual NEED to put a lace edge onto the shelves. Yes, I could go to the local Joanne's and buy a roll of cheap lace. BUT. Are you thinking what I am thinking? Sure! I could knit it! I bought a ball of Dalegarn Baby Ull and am thinking of trying the lacey edging for the Ingeborg sweater (found in Dalegarn 126) And if that isn't wide enough, well, the world is my knitted oyster, isn't it!

Hi Cheryl! (poor girl with the date written across her, um, backside) Isn't Derek a handsome young man. Happy graduation!
You feel a NEED to put lace on shelves? Oh my. That sounds serious. You need to get out of the country and visit the big city! ;0)

The feather and fan along is probably still *on* at Rachael's house....and YES, your namesake was Miffed in a major way. I didn't post the snarly pictures....heh. She is certainly her Mommy's dog...no foofy stuff for US, nosireeebob. She came home and wrestled all of her toys into submission, just to show 'em she was still da boss. So Funny!
We're all waving! Hi pretty lady and handsome boy....oh LOOK,
CAKE!

Sandy, if that edging doesn't work check out Nicky Epstein's book "Knitting on the Edge" It has so many great edgings, heck that's all that the book is! The one I used worked out perfectly and was very pretty pretty!

Wave to Cheryl. I just saw a lace edge attached to shelves in Debbie Bliss "Learn to Knit". It's kind of an old book - in my library. She shows in on a mantle - very "Martha-esque" (before her troubles). So much going on in your knitting life! I'm tempted to join the lace along with the Bay Tank, but think I'll just watch from afar. I'm not getting much done these days, and would hate to be the slacker in the group.
