07.24.2004 :: Merry Christmas or how Sandy spends her money
Right around this time every year I get bitten by the Christmas bug. Yes, you read that right! Christmas!! I can't help myself! All of a sudden, I'm humming Christmas music, fantasizing about the house decorations and planning the Christmas cards! Unfortunately something happens around November. Life gets crazy and Christmas becomes less jolly and more harried.
This doesn't help. 2 days of Christmas in July on QVC!
I am dreaming of a white Christmas and of many things on QVC. This is the only thing I have bought so far. Although it is not quite so yellow as in the picture. A 3 foot Alpine tree. I PINE for this tree.
Shhhh, the next item is up. And I'm knitting..

I always start thinking of Fall around this time of year. I love the cool, crisp weather, and I love Halloween and Thanksgiving. :)

I've already got half of Em's gifts. Whenever I see something she'd really like, I grab it and sock it away for christmas. Then, it's all a big surprise for me too, when it comes time to wrap gifts. I always forget about all the things I bought!

You have got to honkin' be kidding me. Christmas? But you haven't even used your turkey platter for Thanksgiving 2004 yet! And we've not gone to Rhinebeck yet! Let's wait until November at least, okay? ;)

Speaking of QVC, I love QVC UK (www.qvc.co.uk), especially the Jasmine Watson stuff. Go on, type her name in the search engine and see her lovely stuff. And I'm not into yellow gold. (Check out her drool-worthy stuff on her personal site, jasminewatson.com!)
I'm trying to avoid the Christmas jewelry stuff. I'm a sucker for seasonal accessories.

You weren't the only one sucked in by QVC this weekend. The only reason I didn't buy anything was becuase I knew my husband would pick on me. ONly 151 more days to go!
