07.31.2004 :: Blocked!
I had so much fun yesterday, after I went to the nearest craft store to stock up on pins. I did not buy another tomato pincushion. Yet. I gave Charlotte a little soak in some ivory snow and then brought her outside for a block party!

You told me how much it would open up upon blocking, but I'm still amazed at the beauty of it all!
Today, she gets the crocheted edging treatment! Nothing but the best for Ms. Charlotte web!

What a gorgeous shawl your Charlotte version is; I think it's my favorite out of all the ones I've seen. I love that progression from taupe-y brown to teal and back again. Gorgeous!

I usually love green more than blue, but it looks like a bit of green snuck in there--and with the taupe-y brown--yikes, it's pretty!
It looks like the ocean! That's it! Sea blue, sandy beach--so soothing, so beautiful.

How many of us are so well coordinated that our HOUSE is the perfect backdrop for our knitting? Good GOD, woman, that shawl is stunning! The house though....what color is that? I LOVE IT! Can I run away from home and come live at your house for awhile?

The colours are beautiful. I know I had doubts about one colour in mine, but when she's done Charlotte pulls it off beautifully!
