09.02.2004 :: Summer socks!

DSC03509.JPG
Sock-o-rama continues around here.
Yarn: Mountain colors, red tail hawk
pattern: Cabled Foot wrapper, by 3 trails designs
Needle size: US2

What a wonderful, fun pattern. The yarn? Stupendous. If you haven't gotten any, you must. Makes great mittens too!
Oooh, that's it for now, believe it or not. School has started and putting a crimp in my morning posting routine. Must do something about that!

Love the socks Sandy! Was wondering where you purchased the pattern. Was it online? If so which website?
I went to their website and they have no stores in the state of WA where I live :(
Thanks for sharing, they are really beautiful. P.S. Love your to keep up with you through your blogg.

Morning Sandy,
The socks are gorgeous. I LOVE the color of the yarn. That is a great pattern as well. I am using "Bearfoot Alpine" on my leaf Lace socks. I do love Mountain Colors. It is the first time I have used some.

Your socks look lovely, Sandy!
I have a problem knitting two different size socks! Do you or anyone else have that problem?
I find when I finish the first sock if I start the mate right away it always winds up being longer and wider. It's quite anoying!!!!!Anyone else run into this problem?
