10.19.2004 :: Rhinebeck Chronicles, the fluffy part
First Things First:
It seems blog lines does have it's quirks. Didn't you think to yourself that this seems too good to be true? There must be a catch? I think I found it. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, it doesn't pick up a person's rss feed. So, my loyals, you will have to read Sandysknitting the old fashioned way: Frenzied Refreshing. It worked before. And while you are at it, go refresh around Laurie's blog too. Bloglines is ignoring her too.
Something we said?
Repeat after me!
"Sandy is not a spinner!"
Repeat as necessary.
I went to buy yarn and I ended up buying a bunch of "do it yourself"! Next year, I hope I don't come home with a sheep or two!
Okay, more tomorrow for the two of you that are checking around bloglines.

I agree with Claudia... first comes dyeing then the sheep. Lovely fluff. I love it when knitters fall in love with spinning.

Fibre Fantastic. You will be hooked before you know it. Next year you will probably come home with a wheel!
I think I need to see this Rhinebeck for myself!

Next year, you must march me right to Indigo Moon and MAKE me buy one of her batts. I don' tknow what my problem is. Every year I say to myself, "I must buy an indigo moon batt." Then I get there and say, "Oh, maybe next time..." and then I see all the BEAUTIFUL spinning of the indigo moon batts and think, "Man, I MUST get an Indigo Moon batt...."
Help!

Well, you just showed up on my updated Bloglines feeds again! I knew Laurie was having problems, but I erroneously believed that you were on hiatus due to Rhinebeck. I knew you were still alive and well from reading other blogs and seeing the photographic proof. I love your post with all the photos -- they are some of the nicest I've seen of Rhinebeck!
As far as Bloglines goes, I've also discovered that my blog is listed twice for some reason (though sometimes it also appears not to exist according to Bloglines), and it appears that other blogs are, too. I wonder if that has something to do with not picking up the feed. I'd ask Bloglines, but judging from your tag-board, I don't think they'd be too concerned. . .
In any case, welcome back, both from Rhinebeck and to an active Bloglines feed!

Hey--we're on again! It feels so good to be fed. Look what a little bitchin' will get you. I've had lots of practice with that, I'll tell you!

Sheesh, you scared me for a sec with that title. ;) Sandy IS a spinnah! Look at that spindle! Hey, I found the extra bobbins. Now I just have to locate the paperwork. *sigh* Details, shmetails. Sounds like Deb visited Johanna at a Good Yarn today. Deb doesn't realize our spies work overtime for us. :)

It's always SOMETHING, isn't it? Sandy is not a spinner. Sandy is not a spinner. BTW, don't be gettin' any crazy ideas from Kerstin and Yarn Harlot about showing cutlery drawers. I will just have to not play. It would be too gross.
