10.27.2004 :: It's a beautiful day in my neighborhood

Hey Ma! Lookit me spin!

DSC03849.JPG
A bit electric colored in this photo
It is not quite as bright in person. Taking Leigh's philosophy in hand, I plyed it and quickly cast on and knit with it. Instant gratification. It's a good thing. I'd show you the picture, but the morning darkness is preventing me from taking an acceptable photo. My spinning reputation is on the line here!
By the looks of the sky this morning, it looks to be a beautiful day! Hope yours is too!

Very nice chickie! I must must make time to work on my spinning.
Nice morning sky. They are taking an hour away of our daylight this weekend, makes me sad.

Oh, you big showoff. But I'm getting some serious peer pressure and enabling from my homie Anne. Tonight there was a giant box of assorted fibers waiting at my door for me!! I need a wheel, that's all there is to it. Maybe she won't be able to fit one of hers in the U-Haul.....

Nice spinning Sandy! Nice morning sky too! Don't you hate when it is dark when you wake up? But then you get to see the sunrise!

That looks great! I may have to dust off the old spinning wheel after seeing all the beautiful yarn being created in blog-land.

Now THAT'S why I want to learn to spin! So pretty!

Awesome! You are making yarn now, and I love the colours. Can't wait to see it knitted up - hurry home.

Ooooo, it's so pretty! I'm trying to NOT learn to spin but when Anne moves out here I may have to get her to teach me. Don't think I can resist much longer.

I love the yarn! I really want to learn how to spin one day. I'd love to play with roving :) I also enjoyed your dusk/dawn pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I love the colors! I have yet to knit with any of my homespun - don't know what my problem is but I keep spinning it for the heck of it or for Christmas gifts. Bottom line is I need to knit with my homespun!!
