03.25.2005 :: Pardon me, my insides are showing!
Well it apparent that I must get myself a life. Johanna asked to see the inside of the blackberry ridge sock. And I am so thrilled my stuffing might just pop out. Or something. I have never been asked that question and in my little delusional state, I feel like I have "arrived"
Yeah, I know, arrived where? The looney bin. Something like that. Just let me revel in the moment and enjoy that place. Thanks, Johanna for making my day. Doesn't take much, does it?
:)
The insides:
Toe:
Cuff:
There you have it. The skeleton of a sock. Hope you have enjoyed your anatomy lesson.
I wonder what the neighbors think of me standing out on the porch at 6 am in my jammies taking pictures of an inside out sock?
Kinda funny to think about, isn't it?

Great looking sock! Maybe your neighbors are jealous, and would like you to knit them socks. Socks are the one thing I have not attempted. The thought intimidates me.

Isn't it amazing how the insides of knitting looks as cool as the outside?! lol. Very cool socks!

The socks are beautiful on both sides. As for the neighbors - don't worry you'll see then doing something crazy and shake your head.

My grandmothers have always maintained that the true sign of excellent needlework is a tidy reverse side. Yours is beautiful! Gold star for the day!

Sandy, great socks - and I know my neighbors are highly amused by my outdoor wool/pajama antics, whatever the time. Question: Did you use the colors from a kit for the socks? And if so, how does their yarn feel? I've wanted to make those for a while, and am looking for a next project! Thanks!

Oh, your insides are just as beautiful as your outsides.
But then, we already knew that, didn't we?! :-D

The only thing I think is wrong with you on the porch in your jammies taking pictures of an inside out sock is the 6am part. I do it at 9.

My fiance frequently shakes his head at the things I take pictures of. I can only imagine what the neighbours think!

I've never liked to look at guts as much as I did this time,...... ;-D
That's PURTY!

Where are your ends? Did you weave them already? Did you carry them for the foot? Thanks for posting the inside, it's so much more beautiful and neat than I would have imagined! Glad I could perk up your day!

Hehehee! I was out on my porch at 5:30 this morning in my nightgown, rinsing wool! Our neighbors don't know what they're missing. ;)
