How exciting- I am planning on knitting my first pair of socks for myself, having been inspired by so many gorgeous sockapalooza designs (which is how I found your blog), and lo and behold: you are about to give some gorgeous yarn away. I'd love to knit something pink! Fingers crossed that it was meant to be!!!
*I did knit a pair of socks many years ago for my dad, in grey, plain stocking stitch. The second sock took me about 5 years to complete... I'm hoping my next pair will be quicker!

I was too timid to knit with vibrant color until I found the wonderful world of knitting blogs. Now I'm ready for twinkletoe socks!!

Forgive me if I am double commenting...I just wrote a comment and think I canceled it. Not nearly enough coffee yet. That yarn is GORGEOUS. I had wanted to email you ,but could not find the link. What is the largest size on the "Marilyn " pattern? I know it says finished size 52 inches. Not sure what that tranlates to in a size. I love this sweater.
