06.16.2005 :: Haiku for a woolcentric blog*
*woolcentric: see Cassie's blog. Or any knitting blog, really!
Here is my haiku for her contest. Thought I'd share.
Wool Haiku:
It's 10:32
And here I have no poem
Wool is my hero
~~~
Gotta love the haiku.
Now, why didn't I think of haiku, my old fallback? I'm losin' it. Oh, that's right, my brain had been sweated out last night. ;-)
I'm still giggling about "wool is my hero" and have been since last night. ;-)
Hi Sandy,
you long ago sent me the twinkle toes yarn in pink and some beautiful knit picks merino. Well, being the good girl that I am, I'm saving the pink until my sock knitting skills are a little stronger, so I started with the knit picks. And I love the sock. I also started a blog, just started so bear with me, and posted a picture of the one finished sock. I don't know how to link to other sites, etc., yet otherwise I would have given you the credit you deserve. So, thank you again.
julia
P.S. still in chemo . . . . not much new to report, but my knitting is keeping me sane.
