06.22.2005 :: Pot farm

Knit? I have not. But my house has gone to pot. A regular pot farm, if you will.

MariGOLDs to be used as table centerpieces at the 50th wedding anniversary party, doubling as favors to take home.

Bethany and I glued golden lace on the edges and then wrote on the pot with a special terra cotta marker. Who knew they had such things?
My mind is filled with lists of things to buy and lists of things to do. Party is 2 days and counting.

Wow what a great idea! Really nice for people to have something to remember the party by too! Remember to take time to Have Fun at the Party! I know that can be hard when you're so involved.

OMG, what an INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL IDEA. Where'd you come up with that idea? I can hardly stand it! Gardening TV, I bet, right?(cataloguing this away in my head just in case....) So very Martha ...you know, before the ankle bracelet and all.

It's all coming together and looks great! Just wait until the weekend and it is all a wonderful memory for you as you destress and knit and drink, well I would be drinking iced tea, you can choose whatever drink you want! Have fun.
