07.26.2005 :: Summer vacation, lots of nothing
Yesterday, no sooner had I read Alison's entry about her cute Griffindor bookmark when Bethany announced she had to have one. Actually she said she had to have them all.
Should I be worried that she specifically requested Sytherin colors?
As you can see, I have been ignoring creatures of the reef knitting. There has been some kind of disaster there and I have gently placed it down. I have not dared to peek at it yet. I will schedule it in today sometime. Please, please, cross fingers that I can fix it. Or there will be a giant hole in the reef.
This, by the way is a Sophie bag being concocted for my Mom's birthday. She hinted that she could use a bag like mine. This one is made of Manos. My first Manos experience. So far, so good. The colors are rich and wonderful.
Easy Peasy knitting to while away a hot summer day.
Did you notice? All of a sudden 2 people REQUESTING knitting from me? What does it mean??
Don't worry, Fig is on guard duty.

Those HP bookmarks are way too cute... I might have to make one for myself. :)
And E.C. is finished! Thanks for that awesome button advice... I finally did it.

When you are hot, you're hot. They WANT. It's a extension of the fiberfever.
XX fingers for Reef Creatures. Yikes.

Cute bookmark! I'll be holding my breath with fingers and toes crossed that the reef shawl is nice to you. I found fixing mistakes the hardest part of lace knitting, what little I've done that is. ;) King of the backyard, eh Fig? My kitties are all indoor girls so the neighbor cats patrol my yard and shoo away the chippys and squirrels whenever they get the chance, nabbing the occasional bird. Judging from the feathers in my yard I'd say their last catch was a tufted titmouse. Ah well, they can't help it if they are carnivores.

Hole in the reef? Do you want me to come over? Do you want me to send screech?

love the bookmark, I read Allison's entry, too, and I am going to make one tonight.

ROFL. Good. Now I'm not worried, now that I see that Fig is on guard duty! Yes, TWO people requesting knitting from you! What DOES it mean?

I DO think you should be worried about the bookmark request. ;)
Have you finished the book yet? When you do, go to mugglenet.com and scroll down to the JK Rowling interview posted on 7/22. There are three parts. If you are pressed for time, just read part 2 and 3. You will then be ready for book 7.
Try and stay cool.
