You know, I don't have to tell you, that when life hands you those lemons, you make lemonade. Make mine Pink.
After reading all of your wonderful comments, feeling all happy and WARM (did you read the jokes? They were silly. And good for me) I decided to do what anyone would do.
Wallow.
Just go for broke.
Sit around sighing dramatically. Eating sweets. Drinking diet coke until I was full of it. Watching mindless tv, Big Brother 6, which just pissed me off even more. I was just glad I was not in a house with a bunch of jerks like them. Which made me feel a bit better. I knit. I stared at the wall. I sighed some more.
And then?
I went to bed early.
Hey! It can't hurt!
So, today, this little ant, CAN move a rubber tree plant. A little ways anyway.
Here's the knitting du jour:

The ribbing to the Marilyn sweater is done. This is Black water abbey yarn in colorway moss. Delicious!
And then there is this

That. Is definitely a good thing.

Moss! Oh, how you tempt me...

Sometimes the only way to cope with a mood is to just experience it fully and to its natural conclusion. The theory goes that is you short circuit your experience of it, then it is "unresolved". Follow it to the end, and it is gone. (Naturally, this is for normal people and doesn't cover deeper psych issues. Why am I disclaiming??)

Love the moss colourway. And the idea of FALL. SWEATERS. I trotted out Marla last night and it felt good.

What Marilyn sweater? I don't know nothin' about no Marilyn sweater. You just pulled that one right outta thin air, didn't ya?~! Just trying to throw me for a loop, and I can't be thrown too far with my bad back! So STOP it! Now I'm off to wallow some more. Hubby just brought in an emergency supply of Coke Zero.

I just ordered some new BWA and can't wait til it comes. It might be Marilyn or something else.

So glad you pampered Sandy!

I'll take mine PINK, too. With mint, please. Geez, if you're gonna wallow that bad, I can always send three delightful children your way. I'm a bit tired of *dealing* these days, how 'bout it? ;)
