10.14.2005 :: Le chat

Time doesn't seem to be on my side lately. The days fly by and I don't have one iota of the things done that I planned at the beginning of the day.
So, today I post even though I have no knitting to show. Good light is at a premium around here to take pictures. Rain, rain and more rain has made for gloomy living.
So, what's a girl to do when there is no knitting to show?
CAT SHOT!

Dr. Seuss has a Cat in a Hat, I have a Cat in a Box. Seems fair!
And a hearty "Have a good time!" to all the Rhinebeck attendees. Don't forget to visit the Sandysknitting photo yarn at the Bay Colony Farm booth! I will be eagerly awaiting your stories. And the rest of you? I am begging you to post this weekend so those of us with sheep and wool envy won't even miss them. Alright, we'll miss them, but we'll be busy with a party of our own.

Good idea! I'll post this weekend, maybe even a finished sweater post!

AWWWW He is so cute. I miss my kitty cats. I guess he is fully recovered from the tooth trauma? Sandy, you have me looking at the sky all the time now.

Per your comments - The intended may or may not see it but it's off my chest for now so that's a good thing :) Thank you.

Now I wanted to tell you the other day I'm so glad your daughter is safe and the accident was not serious. My daughter went through the same thing as a driver shortly after she got her license and totaled her car. Thank God she wasn't hurt but I was a wreck.

No matter how many times I told her that regardless of what the speed limit sign states it's determined by road conditions (it was sprinkling rain after a period of dry spell). Just so happens this taught her a valuable lesson and I must say she's an excellent driver. Now she harps on my driving :)

I'll join the party and post this weekend :-)

Do you need me to bring you home anything Sandy? I love being a personal shopper when yarn is involved!

It has turned into roving, but lovely none the less. My test spinner and knitter says it's lovely to work with! Trying to get the dye porportions right on yarn was much harder than I had anticipated. I really need good dyes from Prochem, instead of my usual dyes. However, I will continue working on dye formulas after Rhinebeck, and hopefully have the correct shades ready for SPA in February. :)
I'll send out your prize. I thought I could present it to you at Rhinebeck this weekend. Sorry you won't be there to join us. You do know that there are some hotel rooms available yet, don't you? ;-)

Very sad for those of us NOT going. Wool envy is a bad, bad thing.
