11.16.2005 :: Vinter Lue hat
Vinter Lue hat made with stashbusting Lopi. I started this great hat on Saturday around 4:30 pm. By 4 pm the next day, I was putting the finishing touches on it! The pattern was clear, the knitting quick and the end product wonderful! Not only that, but Andy was eyeing it, saying, "who is that for?"
What wifey hears:"HINT HINT". He liked it! He tried it on, even. Alas, it's not for him. It is for a new knitalong.
Knit unto Others

This hat will be making it's way over to Anne for the tornado victims in Indiana. They need warmth, I've got wool. A match made in heaven.
However, one of these hats WILL be making it's way onto my Christmas list for one hat craving husband. This hat was a bit too small for him. So, bigger and longer it will be.
Look at the top of the hat. I love the little braid!
And the earflap braids:
Hats off to the designer of this wonderful pattern!

My computer is out to get me. Every time I have a few minutes to spend with the blog, the connection goes down. Should I be paranoid? I do believe we need a new router. It's wearing down. But why no one else? Was it something I said?
~~
Look up!

Wow, how cool that hubby is interested in the hat (and it IS a nice hat) but doesn't it just send warm little tingles thru you when someone really appreciates and likes what you've made??
Knit on!

Thank you Sandy your hat is way cool!
I'm almost done with my teddy bear and the area elementary schools are excited about our efforts. Thinks the kiddoes will love it along with their families.
Also, through another avenue I got someone from one of the relief agencies to distribute to those that don't have youngins in school. It's coming together, YEAH!

I think I recognize that Lopi. It's Brigitte's leftovers, isn't it? (I love that cardigan. One day...)

The hat looks great! I'm definitely inspired to get some charity knitting done.
You're a lucky woman to have your mister wanting knitwear you made!

Yay for Vinter Lue. You're awesome. You do fancy, I do plain orange chiffon hats. ;-)

Thank you for all the beautiful sky pictures. I took a picture of my sunrise at the beginning of this month and immediatly thought of you. So I posted a picture on my blog. I never would have thought to share something like that if it weren't for you. It's soothing isn't it?
