12.12.2005 :: Frapp a sock!
Okay, here's the thing. When you lose your knitting mojo, it feels really really good to get it back!
This is the Spey Valley Sock from Knitting on the road. I do believe I could make my way from one end of that book to the other. The yarn is trekking 105( look familiar Carol?)
The sock is fun, the yarn is yum, what more could a knitter ask for?
We put up our Christmas tree tonight. Lights only. Decorations tomorrow.
Fig could have cared less!
He could at least open an eye!
~~
Don't forget to Frapp me! It really IS fun. If you haven't yet, you must.

Be sure to check out the Warm Hands Update too! Lots of mittens!

Beautiful Trekking! And you know you can't go wrong with Nancy Bush.
I'm glad you got your mojo back. I think mine is returning too, slowly but surely.

It does feel good to get it back. I just found my mojo again last night. Phew... I was getting worried. The sock looks great, I need to find me some trekking yarn after all the great reviews I've heard.

Losing your knitting mojo - don't you just hate when that happens! Glad you found it again. I love that Nancy Bush book - made the Dalarna socks. But the next pair of socks I start has got to be Jaywalker sice I have been very delinquent with that KAL.
I'm so glad to hear about your mom. What better gift could you ask for!!

Spey Valley is one of my favorite socks. I knit it twice as it fits so well. Fig has the right idea about the Holiday! LOL

I don't know. I started a sock w/my Trekking 105 and it didn't look nearly as nice as yours does. Hmmm...

Sandy, funny thing happened when I googled your site for an earlier picture of Fig. Clicking on any result from your archive loads hundreds of items. In short, your archive loads as one long string of entries. Honest. I could "find" the word Fig through months of entries. Can't be good. You might want to chat with your "tech support", if any, about it.

How soft and silky Fig looks.

You should see my frappr map...very lonely, ha ha!
I am almost done with the cuff of both of my jaywalker socks, they barely go over my heal...I am hoping the recipient has a smaller heal than me.
Cute sock! I like the yarn, can't wait to see more of it. Glad you go your knitting Mojo back I lost mine last night as I was in a drug induced stupor (sometimes get that way with my terrible back.)

That's so funny - the second I saw the picture, I thought, hey, I know that yarn!! I love my feather and fan socks that I made with that trekking. And I just finished Jaywalkers for my stepdaughter with the primary colored trekking. Ya gotta love the trekking!
