12.15.2005 :: Enjoying the season, are you?

DSC05758.JPG
The house is quiet, the tree is lit. I should be wrapping gifts, but I'm not.
I should be making a list.
And checking it twice. But I'm not!
I should be baking cookies. But I'm not.
I'm noodling around on the computer and now I plan to put my feet up and knit by the light of the Christmas tree.
There's always Saturday, right? Why rush into things??

Wrapping gifts? I still haven't bought all mine! ACK!

Take your time! Grab a cup of hot cocoa, curl up with a nice book, and enjoy the season a bit.

Except Saturday is just as busy as this week has been. Tuesday next week, I can finish the shopping then. Surely I can get one batch of cookies made before Christmas? Or maybe I will just let the Christmas Elves do it for me. Know where I can find some?

Right on, Sistah!

Works for me!

Absolutely. The holiday is to be enjoyed ... and is still over a week away. Enjoy your beautiful tree.

You've got the right idea, sister. The problem with the holidays is we spend so much time making everything look nice and spreading holiday cheer that we never get the chance to sit by, relax and enjoy it. I'm glad to hear that you're doing that for yourself!

Sounds lovely. And if you're looking to this bunch to dissuade you from knitting under the Christmas tree, well. you've come knocking on the wrong door ;)
