How kool! Way back when I was still in school I had a assignment in my yearbook class like this, to tell a story with just pictures. Plus the yarn looks great. What will you make?

Hi Sandy, this is Kathy from "Kathy's Knitting" I have a new blog "Knit Farm News" the new URL is mrnorris05.blogspot.com.I finally have a reliable computer to work with and I decided to start afresh with the new blog. Hope to see you there! Oh yeah, I went back and read the archives from when I was here last. May I say what an awesome person and knitter you are? Well you are!!!!!!
Posted by: Kathy on 01.23.2006 AT 08:38 PM
lovely - and a better way to show the entire process because it does (indeed) have all of those other sorts of elements included.
good to, er, see you (across the way, a few feet away, etc) yesterday! I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to actually talk to you about what you were knitting, but it looked like it had good hand feel. I thought about you as I saw the sunset on my way home...

I want Rachael's socks though I'm having a hard time justifying $10 on a pair of socks which is so DUMB because I'd spend more on that for yarn for socks! Well now I've convinced myself to just buy them. I love the kool-aid dyeing! So neat!

Whoo hoo! Makes me want to go home and dye some yarn myself!

You are a very funny girl. And so creative! YEAH!

I must say, several scenes from your photo album today look remarkably like my home--The dying pan, could it be Farberware? and the fence/gate/drying rack looks very much like my front porch, so much as I had to check and see if yarn was drying there. No luck, and there is snow on my ground. Lovely still life movie Sandy!

Cute post! Pretty yarn! did you like the rachel ray mag? I think I would buy it again ..but lets wait and see how much I make out of it
Posted by: Cindy on 01.22.2006 AT 02:29 PM
lol, no one commented on the fact that you used white wine vinegar (and aged stuff at that!) for your vinegar. ooo la la! fancy yarn! that brings koolaid dyeing to a new level, lol. nice color, too! did you let it cool in the dyebath? that helps exhaust the dye, and you don't end up with as much dye washed out (particularly with the vinegar)
ask me how i know, lol.
