« A good day all in all | Main | Anniversary/Prom/Home from college: The day after! »

05.19.2006 :: Please take a deep breath and read this as the run on sentence that it is meant to be: that is the kind of day this is. Fast and Furious. Ready?

Today is our 22nd wedding anniversary which marks the year that I am married as many years as I was not We are going out to dinner with friends of ours who have the same exact anniversary, same year we celebrate together every year and I can't wait it is Junior Prom night, Bethany's first ever prom so we must do the prom thing which is much more involved than I ever imagined with the meeting with friends to do hair and makeup and get ready and take pictures Derek comes home from college today we had to get a friend to pick him up because we could not fit him into our schedule can you imagine?
Is that it?
I'm sure not.

Okay, now multiply that by everyday here lately and you will have my life in a crazy nutshell except that my anniversary is next month but our prom was tonight and man! all of the planning and meeting and hairdoing and the promenading and coming back to change then going to the post prom party and having breakfast here in the morning and then beaching it tomorrow night, and when did the prom go from one fun night to a weekend event? and then we have something almost every freaking day until not only graduation but the 8th grade "celebration" and I am barely able to read a blog, much less post a comment or even post to my own, I have no life of my own and I am exhausted. Senior year. I'll post a prom pic if you will.

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary, Honey! My day tomorrow is going to be a bit like your run-on-sentence-day. Drive 5.5 hours TO the college. Meet the in-laws (allegedly, ALLEGEDLY in-laws. Or maybe a better word is "potential"), which should be good for a laugh. High Society, Meet the Clampetts. Like that. Have lunch with the High Society potential in-laws, pack up a whole roomful of CRAP - I mean Ab's STUFF, drive 5.5 more hours. I'm sure there's more. And I'm adding a lot of periods, because I just.can't.do.without.punctuation. Me being a punctuation freak and all. You know.

But I hope the anniversary celebration went super-well, and I hope Bethany's prom went even better.

Woo-hoo! Another May anniversary for me to celebrate!! Our 2nd wedding anniversary was on the 8th. Rich and I are still in amazement that we have not strangled each other yet. As for your long-sentence-without-a-break-to-breathe, I think you should come on down and take up yoga with us. Heck, if I should suffer from having to fire breathe, so should the rest of the world. ;)

Now, step back... Inhale deeply... And boldly GRIN like you-did-something-naughty-but-nobody-knows-about-it yet!
