06.06.2006 :: Can that ant move a rubber tree plant?

You know what the good thing is about having a non finished kitchen complete with no sink? It takes my mind away from the fact that my baby is graduating high school and leaving for college in a short couple of months. I'm sure I would be a basketcase if my mind were not occupied with the anxiety of sink-less worries.
See? There is a silver lining in everything. Being an optimist really pays off sometimes! Soon, this will all be behind us and I will run water over my hands. In the kitchen. And life will be good!

UGHLEE!
It was suggested that I do before and after pictures. Well, I did not take one of the old sink, although I could take it's photo of it sitting on the porch. But I won't.
Let me just say this: Pioneers had it tough, baby!

Oh, I wish we could grow Rhodies here. They're so beautiful. You've got it all, girlfriend!

Best wishes on the new sink---and today is the Big Day, isn't it? Give Bethany a congratulatory hug for me, 'k?

We should do a "show off the uggly kitchen", as mine is as bad or worse than yours!!!!(I still have a sink but its suspended by my DH handy work metal frame!!)

Sandy,

Right there with you, Babe. My Sam graduates HS Friday, and is leaving for his acting career to L.A. Aug 1.(He already has a manager!) Sigh....
They really do grow up too fast....
By the way, love the rhododendron. They grow wild in Western North Carolina, you know! Gorgeous picture. Are you ever going to tell the name of your digital camera?:o)

I feel your pain, Sandy. There are ways to get around a problem like no hot water, but no sink? That takes creativity. ;-)

Your rhododendron shot looks really orchid-like to me. Must be the camera angle. Anyway, it's cool!

Now, did YOU remove the sink? I'll betha if he saw you with tools in hand, he got on it all right away, huh? And, are you enjoying the sinkless, cookingless world right now? Have you discovered the joys of take out or home delivery? (Heck, I'm not even doing construction around here, and I have delivery coming!)

So, ummm, no sink at all is progress, right?

Beautiful flower. Good luck with the sink. DH and I almost broke up whilst remodelling the kitchen. It will all be worth it when your lovely new kitchen is done.
