08.17.2006 :: Box with paper
I thought I'd play with my package, like Cara did at her birthday. Imitation (blatant copying) is the sincerest form of flattery, is it not?
The unopened birthday package with today's paper. Hmm. The picture seems a bit further away than I intended. I guess you'll just have to believe me when I say the package is unopened. And Bethany is still mad about it. "What if there is German chocolate in there, Mom". "Well, my dear college bound girl, it would be MY chocolate anyway. Perhaps there IS not chocolate."
A second look at the front page of the newspaper finds this.
How can I resist showing a picture of a picture of a sky?
Really?
Do you want to know when my birthday is? OR should I keep teasing with unopened box pictures. My birthday is more than 2 days away, but closer than 14 days.
That helps!

Hi Sandy! I'm going to post a Saturday sky photo today for the first time. I'm always so afraid to over-commit on these things. heh But I finally decided "I can do it." (so silly, I know)

Me thinks I'll be sitting in the chair for a while longer waiting for you open the box :-)

Your birthday is exactly one month before mine. I would have opened the box by now! I have no restraint!I hope there is a crown in the box for you!

Oooh ... If I say Happy Birthday now it'll be too early, but if I miss it then it'll be a belated, so hmmm ... Happy ALMOST Birthday. HA! *lol*
I think your birthday is August 21st.

My first thought was that someone had taken your box hostage and was sending you proof of life pictures.
Think I need a pepsi? ;^)

Well, at least you're having fun with the package - isn't that the important thing? (Even though it reminds me just a tiny bit of what it's like giving a small child a present and watching them play with the box :0)

You are showing heroic restraint. I would have torn open that box about five minutes after bringing it in the house. ;-)

I know when it is, but I'm not telling! You're very good with that box--I had to hide mine in a closet to keep from opening it before my birthday.

Hahahhaaa, your birthday is the same day as my former wedding anniversary, so it's an easy one for me to remember!
LOVE the sky photo--how cool is that??

Okay, I must send you one of my fun birthday packages! What's your address again? And will I be seeing you at the Blogger Table in this year's Boston KOAC?

Oh, oh, oh! Based on that information, I am pretty sure your birthday is in August -- am I right? ;-) I'm going to guess the 28th if you want me to be more specific. And I'm also going to guess (though you didn't ask) that the newspaper is an Eagle Tribune.

I know what day it is!! No German chocolate allowed-it's much too dangerous. Anyway the really good chocolate doesn't come from Germany-it's the swiss stuff you want!! ;) Maybe next time.
