08.23.2006 :: Can you picture it?

My mouse (not my catnip carrot, my computer mouse) is giving me trouble. The kind of trouble that makes one miserable. This mouse's days are numbered. Consequently, because of mouse troubles, I cannot upload the pictures I had planned to show you.
Let's see if I can describe the photos well enough to give you a picture in your mind.
First photo:
2 birthday packages sitting on a paper marked WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23, 2006. On top of the packages sits a bendable, stuffed Pink Panther. He is sitting with his legs crossed and his hands (if indeed panthers that are pink HAVE hands) are up to his mouth in a YOOOOHOOO kind of fashion. The packages, by the way, are UNOPENED as it is NOT my birthday today.
(are you getting so sick of me saying the word BIRTHDAY yet? I'm like a spoiled brat this year. Huh. It surprises even me. The spoiled brat thing)
Second Photo:
The sky over my neighborhood, over a couple of houses and the church across the street is as blue as any baby blue can get. You can understand where Crayola got the inspiration for their sky blue crayon when you look at this sky. And smack dab in the middle of it, framed by the green trees is a cloud that is so puffy and white that it looks fake. It looks like cotton. Like you could bounce on it. In a soft kind of cotton way.
Let's hope that the mouse smartens up. It would be bad to have this kind of blog entry every day. Especially, on THE day. You know.

It's August 25-6:18 a.m. here in Berlin and I'm off to take a shower and head to work, but I wanted to tell you something very very important. I hope I'm the first.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Feliz cumpleanos! Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!!!!!

Someone should run out and get you a new mouse for your birthday. Otherwise, how will you show off the contents of the exciting packages? Once you open them, I mean? ;-)

BAD MOUSE!!!! Maybe this one is just jealous and you should knit something for it?!?

Very good description of your pics....need to post when you can so we can all see if the acutal pics match our "mental" pics!!

Happy ALMOST Birthday!!

I think we should designate a day in blogdom when all knitbloggers describe their photos in detail rather than actually upload them. ;-)

Is it too late to request a new mouse for your BIRTHDAY?

I will just say that I figured out the date of your 16th Anniversary, and appropriately mentioned celebrating it in the package, so feel free to tear into it at anytime! ;)

You know.....Dave's got a REAL good point there, Miss Fancy Car! ;)

I can close my eyes and imagine that white, fluffy cloud. But to me, it looks like Merino roving, not cotton. That's close enuff, right?

THE day? Huh? WTF? What's That For? Heheh. When's Tootsie (gonna be) Fourty-Five?

Yeah, okay, so I've had too much iced tea tonight....

Do you know that as SOON as I got outta line tonight.....just like you said....that freaking train started to MOVE!! No kidding!! You must be clairvoyant!
xoxoxo

Ooh, I hate mouse problems. I assume you've already done the obvious: taken his ball out, and cleaned the rollers... When they die, it's usually slow and miserable. Such a fate! Good thing they're easily replaceable.

Your photos sound wonderful, btw. :-D

Hey, doesn't SOMEONE have a new car that they can use to go to the Mall and get you a new one? It'll only take a few minutes. Sheesh. And it's going to be your birthday soon. You gave birth to him, it's the LEAST he could do...

Mouse problems? Or couldn't wait and already tore into the package? Hmmm...

I put up some blue sky today. Since you're not "able" to. ;)

Can't you offer someone in the neighborhood a beer in exchange for their mouse? Seriously, that is not an acceptable situation to have no MOUSE. We don't want you to have to knit one -- that might not be pretty.

Having said all that, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your descriptions. They paint the pictures so well we don't even NEED no stinkin' pictures!
