I have good intentions of knitting mittens. Does that count? Really, I just got a newsletter with a workshop on lightly felted, wind proof, garter stitch, non gusseted thumb, really cute mittens. So what's stopping me?

I seem to have a phobia about mittens.I can and have done hats, shawls, sweaters, neckwarmers, etc but never mittens or gloves. I have lots of patterns... BTB, I took a picture of the sky this morning and thought of you. It's on the blog.

I can't say no to a mitten-along. Gee, maybe I can finish the Estonian mittens I started LAST year... ;-)

Oh, that term...empty nest. Ick. I am sending you a warm heart for what you're going through. I was sniffling a little bit when my baby girl got out of the car on her first day of middle school and didn't look back! College is going to be rough! Hang in there.

You read my mind Sandy.... I was going to ask you about doing it again this winter. When I get my arm back I would be happy to help out. I am going crazy not being able to knit.
