03.26.2007 :: In the Pink or optimistic thinking

art yarns pink
Artyarns supermerino in some type of colorway that is pink and lovely. I could find the other skein and read the label but...well, you know. I won't. Not right now. I'm busy typing.
I needed some simple and comforting knitting so I started a sock in pink. I needed that desperately. I have other things on the needles that are taking too much concentration. Sometimes a girl just needs to knit. Thinking is overrated. Sometimes.
My mother in law went in the hospital 2 weeks ago for a pacemaker insertion. No big deal, right? We've all known plenty of people who get them. Well, due to some anatomic anomolies, there was a puncture of a pulmonary vein and bleeding and scary times. She is still in the hospital, doing well, all healed from the puncture and is going in a second time for the pacemaker.
Send some good thoughts up, will you? And knit with me? Something simple will do!

Knitting along...and sending healing thoughts...

Beautiful yarn! :o)

Posted by: JessaLu on 03.27.2007 AT 12:00 AM

it will go well. my mom had one put in almost 2 years ago, and she's doing wonderfully. in fact, the doctor thought she was having an issue with her heart that would cause major problems, except the problems haven't come up. he's continually surprised, and i'm continually pleased (we lost my dad 6 years ago, and i'm not ready to be an orphan yet)

and the yarn looks so pretty.
