04.22.2007 :: Or do I?

Life is bugging me lately, I am having trouble dealing with events of late. So, for now, one of my favorite songs from a simpler time. (more later, I promise. I need to get my thoughts straightened out first)

You made me teary! I watched that as a kid, now my youngest watches it, for some reason it brings me back down to the important things. My family, my babies.
thanks.

There is something to watching Sesame Street and feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I think I need to watch more Sesame Street and less news.

thank you for bringing a smile to my face on a dreary day - I still love that song!

Whatever the problems, a beautiful day like today should help. :-)

That's one of Young'un's bed songs. I makes me think of cuddles and soft boy hair that smells like lavendar shampoo.

Thanks for posting it.

My memories of Sesame Street were not as a child, but while raising my own kids. There's something comforting about it. Hugs to you my friend.

I forwarded to my DD who is married to a rocket scientist. His original dream WAS to live on the moon. They are expectant parents, and I hope they will enjoy this. Thanks!

Okay, I know this is going to sound sacrilege. I am in that generation that completely missed out on Sesame Street. It started up after I was a preschooler, and we never had the TV on when Abigail was little. Am I bad? Still, I do like Ernie and Bert. Especially when those right-wingnuts allege that they're gay. Mostly I can relate to Oscar the Grouch.

Chuck was sitting next to me when he heard the song and commented it was his favourite when he watched SS with the kids way back when. I thought that time of life was hectic, but now know it's nothing compared to life today, personally and in the world.

I wish we could talk over tea sometime.

Thank you for reminding us of that lovely little song. Ah, for those simpler times. Do you ever think our kids will look at these days as such??

Love you, sweetpea, and am here if you need to talk.
xoxo

A sweet thought, Sandy. Somehow Muppets seem to get to the heart of things, don't they? Hug your loved ones and hold them close. And one especially for you: {{{hug}}}
