WELL....I can certainly identify with you on the party insecurities....I think the majority of women our age feel this way!!! So, with that in mind, when you are sitting there looking at all the great women and thinking how great THEY look, just remember....they are looking around and thinking how great YOU look!!!

Okay, a sky picture! I was beginning to think I was by myself in going out on each Saturday and taking pictures of the sky, especially when there's nothing up there but blue, blue, and blue. When my daughter, Paula, started my blog she said I had this Saturday Sky button and I now had to go out every Saturday and take a picture of it. Well, I've been doing that ever since and I've not found but one or two Saturday Sky posts since. How do I find out who else is doing this?

I have a little experience with this. I used to be a twig, so much so that when current friends see pictures of the former me, they gasp and can't believe it's the same person. Some of them say I look better now, others don't say anything. As far as I'm concerned, they're not my friends if they judge. And if they're not my friends, then I don't care what they think.

Listen, I totally get you on why you don't want to go. I've felt that way many times, even about blogger gatherings where I know I'm loved and not judged. But the thing is, this is life and you need to live it. Go and have fun and fuck 'em if they judge you for how you look.

You're a grown woman with two fabulous children, a loving husband and a cat who steals socks while you're at work. yep, go get some ladybugs! many nurseries carry them and they're inexpensive -- they LOVE aphids. Just remember to let them outside just after sunset. :)
