Liidia's Braid Cast on from Nancy Bush's Estonian Inspired Pocket Bag pattern in Interweave Knits, Fall 1999 issue. Yarn is Classic elite Inca Alpaca that I had in the stash.
Margene inspired this knit long ago. So long ago, that it was forgotten. But not really, you know how those things are?

I took a workshop with Nancy Bush and we learned how to make that bag. I've made several as gifts - they're great!

Oooh, I made one of those last year. I used some Paton's Classic I had in the stash. It was lots of fun learning the braids and fringe.
