07.16.2007 :: Hogwarts Sock Swap socks: magic spell or knit the old fashioned way, you decide!
This would mark the end of my participation in the Hogwarts Sock Swap. Now? I wait for The Book on Saturday! (I ordered it from Amazon, just so I can see for myself that delivering all of those books on Saturday is possible. I'm a doubting Sandy)

Anyway, back to the socks:
I love them. I hope they fit her!
I like the other side of this bookmark that I wrapped the socks in. It says Severus Snape FRIEND. I prefer to hold out hope that he is not as bad as he has been portrayed.

I'm hoping my Mum can pick up a copy for me before she comes back from the UK on Monday.
My theory (based on nothing) is that Snape will redeem himself by sacrificing himself to help Harry kill Voldemort.

Me? I'm not waiting for Saturday delivery. I shall be at my local book shop on Friday night to get my hands on a copy at 12:01. And I shall be wearing a brand new HP shirt for the occasion. I found one that has 'I solemnly swear I am up to no good' on the front. How could I resist? *grin*

there seem to be a lot of us holding out on Snape being good. I just can't truly believe the Dumbledore is gone and that he was fooled by Snape. I hope they both have something up their sleeves. (I'm probably much too "rose-colored-glasses" for JKR)

OOh, I sent mine out today too. I've actually preordered at Borders in hopes that Eli and I will manage to stay up until midnight on Friday.

I didn't actually read the last book, but from what I heard about it it seemed like JKR was just having fun messing with readers' heads.
