Watch that first step...it's a doozie. Yes, yes, I know, I couldn't help myself. I always wondered what animals think about the funny things we humans do. I often wonder what my dogs think when we bring a Christmas tree home every year..."so, wait, how come I can't pee on this one?" Or when we take them camping, "What did you do now JinBao, we have to MOVE this time."

I like your porch-to-be, but like others, I love your house number! Shades of HP & Kings Cross, but I bet you lived at 12 1/2 before Platform 9 3/4 was thought of ~ very cool!

I love that your house number is 12 and 1/2. It's like you live in a magical place; halfway between here and anywhere.
Mr. Happy and I once lived at 12 Rose Street... That address had a magic all its own: a dozen roses.
