01.24.2008 :: 24. One thing led to another...
I finally bought some yarn to finish the anemoi mittens, seen here in this vintage photo:
But I do not know where they are, so I went on a little hunt.
Along the way, I saw:
Fig eating tuna. He was glad I moved along in a quick manner.
my chicken bowl! I wondered where this little guy went!
Christmas cards! Which reminds me, I forgot to send out Christmas cards this year! I hate it when that happens!
Helgi's mittens! In the wonderful Alpaca Exchange yarn! Poor things, sitting undone when I could be wearing them!
OH! The Nordic mittens from Winter 2004 Interweave knits. How I ADORE these mittens~ WHY '0 WHY do I keep putting them down? Can anyone answer that for me???
I did not find the anemoi mittens.
If you see them, will you send them home?

Love that chicken bowl! This reminded me that I never sent out my Christmas cards either. I'm not even sure where I put them. Oh well, maybe next year. Well if you never find your Anemoi mittens, you've got other possibilities.

Curse you and your darn chicken bowl! :) All of the sudden I'm not feeling so bad about the basket of forgotten wips I came across in a cleaning frenzy the other day.

I think this is a Sign than you should finish the Nordic mittens. :-) Maybe once those are finished, the gremlins will give back the missing Anemois?...
(you do know about the gremlins, right, that like to hide your important knitting stuff, like DPNs and stitch markers and embroidery scissors? Occasionally they get greedy and abscond with a whole project.)
