By the time the 2145th* person told me I looked "terrible" today, I was wondering what the fuss was all about. I went to the ladies room and the delightful fun house mirror with blaring fluorescent lighting bordering on xray beams showed me that they most definitely were correct. I did look terrible. Puffy eyes and cheeks, bloodshot eyes, pale and yet blotchy red however the hell that could happen. I was a real delight on the eyes today! Good thing I felt good! Which was a small consolation to those who had to endure looking at me all day long.
This is why Mr. Blood Orange up there is quite symbolic of my eyes today.

Have you ever seen that comedy routine where the person is talking about how someone will say, "OhMYGOD, THIS STINKS, here, SMELL!" That's sort of along the same lines of people telling you look like CRAP all day. Thanks, people, that's why I LOVE you. Sheesh.
Tell them if they had to look at THEM all day, THEY'D look AWFUL TOO.
