02.03.2008 :: 34. It's Sunday and that is Super!

My first try at needle felting. I have to say that I am quite enamored by the process! It was fun and I felt quite creative in a way that I haven't in a while.

I'll be eating chili later, watching the Super Bowl (Go Patriots) and knitting my little heart out on my Noro striped scarf. <---Ravelry link. If you aren't on ravelry yet, you can go to the flickr page, that is, if you don't hate flickr with a burning passion. Like someone I know. :D
Grow little scarf, grow!

That is such a cute little bird! Needle felting isn't all that easy and you did a fab job right off the bat!

Every time I dabble with needle felting, I think how fun it would be to get good enough to do caricatures of people I know. And therapeutic. Imagine making one of some guy you're mad at. You could make it anatomically correct and just... well, felt your anger out. Heh.

I want to try, but am such a perfectionist about the whole thing it stops me.

Did you learn from that book we bought this summer? Doesn't really look like a puppy dog to me ;) I signed up for a class that was cancelled.

You needle felt? Aren't you just full of surprises. I love it.
I'm taking a pass on the football, but hope you'll hold my hand when I decide to give that scarf a try. Assuming I ever finish that pink lace. o.0

Hey Sandy, that's great! Needle felting is fun, in a creative, voodoo-like way, isn't it?
