I love clean sheets after a warm bath. I love watching kitties bathe. I love a strong cup of tea and a scone slathered in butter. I love people who write wonderful blog posts. :)

I love a box of See's Candy, all dark chocolate, so I don't have to share. And dinner at a new to us Italian restaurant, then home to watch a movie. No fuss, no muss, no stress.

I love that my husband blatantly broke our no-gifts-on-V-Day rule and got me a little something anyways. But I think that he thinks it's not technically a gift because it was presented in the plastic shopping bag from where he bought it, instead of wrapping paper.

I love the way my husband speaks "mechanic" for me.

I love making homemade macaroni and cheese for my daughters, the elder of whom has her birthday on Valentine's day! Mac and cheese followed by chocolate ganache tort - mmmm.

I love having my children and husband all home for a meal at the table, which we will be enjoying tonight. Roast, potatoes, carrots, and maybe a bottle of white zinfandel. <3

I love you, my Sandy, and occasionally what's his name, but I like you more. I also love Cadbury Fruit & Nut bars, tulips and pepsi. Not always in that order and rarely together.

We eat out way too much, so it's actually more special right now to have a nice dinner at home, which is what we'll be doing. Our youngest is away at college and our older son, who lives at home, is at his girlfriend's for the evening...so it will be just my husband and me (and the dog). I don't think ours will be quite as nice a dinner as yours though...yours looks yummy! Happy Valentine's Day!

No cooking. We'll go out even if it's to Wendy's ;-)
