born in methuen, and raised in NH, and still 60%! not bad I say. now that I'm in MN, I can't believe how much I miss good ole' Dunkin Donuts. They don't have donut shops here, isn't that nuts!

I'm 92% as well.
I grew up in Danvers, but, I guess the 7 years in NYC is starting to take it's toll. That said, you can take the girl out of Boston and she will ALWAYS remain faithful to the SOX!!!!!!

52% Massachusetts "You're likely a Massachusetts transplant. Big rotaries still scare you, and you probably live outside of 495."
And after living near Boston for 13 years, too. ;-)

I was born in Worcester, Mass (where my mom was born and grew up) so I'm betting I could do pretty well in that quiz! :-)
And yes, I say Woos-Tah.

I'm afraid I have spent far too long in PA dutch country to be a new englander. *sigh* But, I still think your iris is wicked.

48%...who knew 3 years in Hingham could destroy so much of my New Yorkiness.
Posted by: kathleen on 04.15.2008 AT 09:09 PM
Eh, only 60%, even though I grew up there. Was away for a long time though... and now back to New England. Maybe it's just that I don't have any strong feelings about the sports teams... (shhhhh)

I knew the bubbler question had to come from a fellow Wisconsinite! I've never been to Baasten but I hope to visit someday.
Lovely little irises, Sandy.

A bubbler, btw (Or rather...a bubblah) is a drinking fountain. Use it in a sentence.
I drank water from the bubbler in the hall.
(referring to a school!)
It cracks me up that we all live in the same country and use such different words and phrases. Don't even get me started on the American Chop Suey, NORMA!
:D

I took this quiz, thinking that birth in MA would count for something, but it only counted for 36% - "You could pass for being from MA until you open your mouth and start pronouncing your R's." I do pronounce those R's, but my kids still tease me about some of my other pronunciations - thanks for the chuckle :)
PS - Isn't a bubbler something you put on a Christmas tree?

I'm 92%, too! And I say Mahhhgene!
Posted by: Carole on 04.15.2008 AT 05:48 PM
I'm 0%, and it was worth getting that score to see the derogatory message from the quiz people! Too funny!
Do you know what a bubbler is?
Posted by: Nora on 04.15.2008 AT 05:41 PM
Do you have a fever, my Sandy? ;^)
Posted by: Cookie on 04.15.2008 AT 05:32 PM
