07.07.2008 :: 187. The first day back in the real world is the hardest I think

A weekend on a lake: little squirrels hiding in trees, little dogs obsessed with the little squirrel in a tree, 2 loons on a lake, more blueberry pancakes than a person has a right to consume, swimming until we were pruney, home fireworks show, boat rides, sparkly water, blue skies, sunny days, cool nights, flat tire on the way up there, tie dying shirts and fingers, and more than a couple of beers and some glasses of wine.
These are the things that make a tired Sandy on a Monday.

A HUGE thank you to Norma for babysitting the blog while I was gone. She posted my words so I would not miss out on the 365 success. THANKS, NORMA!!! :)
~A big thanks to the spammers who were on duty this weekend. Poor things working through a holiday weekend. They really did their job well, making me think I was supremely popular in my absense. Thanks, spammers for making me feel loved there for a minute
~I still owe a lot of emails.
~Perhaps I can forward you a spam?
~No. No that would be wrong.

Great pictures of the loons. We're leaving for Lake Winnepausaki (sp.?) Saturday and I can't wait to do some loon watching, too.
I, too, am wondering about which N.H. lake this is.
And, of course, I now need to make blueberry pancakes when we're there!

I'm glad you had such a lovely weekend. We hate spammers. Welcome back

Well, I just ate the cup of blueberries I got off my bushes this morning -- plain -- otherwise I would be going THIS INSTANT to make blueberry pancakes. I guess I was saved from myself, huh? XO

You maybe tired but you're happy and refreshed, too...right? Looks like a lovely place.

Welcome back. We just returned from 10 days at the lake and for the first time in my life I think I would have liked to stay longer. I realized we don't relax for entire days at home. Or hours., even.
You have me beat in that you took photos to share. I meant to. I really did. Guess I was too relaxed.

Blueberry pancakes. I can't think about anything else now.

Sounds awesome! Well, all but the going back to work part. That isn't so awesome, but it could be worse, right?
You crack me up.

You tie dyed a boy? Sandy, I am shocked!
I'm so glad you had a good time and had a chance to get away and relax.

Looks like a lovely vacation!
I must ask which lake you were at, because your lake looks a lot like the lake we go to at the end of the summer.

Norman, the loons!
It looks beautiful. We're glad to have you back. I have a superfluity of spam of my own, thanks just the same. (Although they seem confused as to my gender. Perhaps you have better luck?)
