My first homegrown yellow cherry tomatoes of the year! I was surprised to find them ripe on the vine waiting for me. Not quite enough for a salad or a meal yet but certainly a yummy tasting snack. As I held them in my hand (after taking the requisite blog picture of course) I pondered whether it would be rude to pop them in my mouth and not admit to the rest of the family that they exist. I hesitated quite a few beats while I dreamed of the sweet, tangy taste.
I did decide to offer them around. But? In a cool twist of fate? No one wanted them as badly as I did.
Yum.

My house is ALMOST clean for my staycation guest. She will have to put up with some cluttery, homey goodness. It's not a museum here. I hope she'll get over it.

Heh, I DID just pop them into my mouth without offering them around, and they were sweet and yummy.

You didn't save the tomatoes to share with Norma the Staycation guest?? She will not let you forget it. :-)

You are a bigger person than I! I would have just popped them in and never said a word.
Hope you're enjoying your staycation.

OMG, mine started in June, and have not stopped. We learned not to plant two Sungold, but they slipped in this year.
