08.16.2008 :: 227. Tired of worrying about people, tired of fighting for people to be treated with respect so I'm going to put up pretty pictures here and we can all OOOOH and AHHHHH at them as a distraction from your world, okay? You have something you want to ignore
The sky was gorgeous here today and very dramatic with it's puffy clouds and periodic black clouds.
(that would qualify for a Saturday sky as well)
and my favorite late summer flower is
Queen Anne's Lace. I love it's delicacy, it's lacy beauty, it's strength to show up year after year.
I appreciate that.

I hope today is better for you. The sky photo is fabulous but you have me on my knees with the Queen Anne's Lace. One of my all time favourites.

Queen Anne's Lace always brings me a giggle. When my husband and I were first dating, he took me to meet his parents. As we pulled into their driveway, there was his Mom in the garden with a bunch of cans of spray paint...she was painting the Queen Anne's Lace in her favorite neon colors! (((hugs)))

Did you know that the middle of each flower is actually a dot of purple? You can see it with a magnifying glass.
